Welcome to Olsburg, KS

Established in 1880, Olsburg is a small town with a big heart, and a rich Swedish heritage.

Located in the beautiful Northern Flint Hills of Kansas, along Kansas Highway 16 in West Central Pottawatomie County and a short 20 miles north of Manhattan. The surrounding country roads go through prairie and woodlands including Carnahan Creek scenic road and park.

Tuttle Creek Reservoir is located 7 miles West, where the two rivers that feed it (Fancy Creek and the Big Blue River) flow under the one of the longest bridges in Kansas. There are several state parks and wildlife areas to explore.

The Olsburg Community is welcoming and friendly and strives to be a progressive community that works together to promote the advantages of small-town living.
